How to submit your own video for Tough Love
Shooting Video
- A recent smartphone has enough resolution for a video that can be used.
- If you can, find a friend or relative with a steady hand and some video experience.
- It is generally safer if the person taking the video stands still and you ski toward them.
- The videos used for Tough Love generally in landscape mode - hold the camera so the wider direction is from left to right.
- Video at least two times - once on a run you feel confident on and once on a slope that's a bit challenging.
- Look at the first 30-60 seconds of a couple of the examples for the Tough Love Library (click here) to see what the video should look like.
- Note the skier's height is about 2/3 of the height of the shot. This is important - the skier's movements need to be visible!
