Travel - Portillo
Arrival - Most people arrive at the Santiago Chile airport between 6:00 and 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 31.
We will meet at the restaurant immediately outside International Arrivals/Customs. You can also look for a Driver with a Clendenin or Portillo sign. Or look for Crystal in a bright yellow fleece.
We'll then have a deluxe bus ride from the airport to Portillo (approximately 2 hours). With good weather, those who choose can ski in the afternoon.
Departure - Most people depart from the Santiago airport about 7:30 to 10:00 p.m. on Sunday Sept. 8. We'll have to time to ski on Saturday morning, Sept. 7. We try to leave Portillo a bout 3:00 p.m. Upon arrival in Santiago, we check into the Mandarin Oriental and have our closing dinner that evening. On Sunday, most people take advantage of the day for touring sites in the city.
